He said “It's fine to show good intentions and get the headline. But if there's no follow-up, it becomes empty words and people start losing confidence in the entire process,”

Developing women founder ecosystems
PwC teams where out in the community this week contributing to the ESG agenda this week supporting a number of women founder initiatives.
AHK Women Founders Forum
Scale Lead Patricia Keating spoke to the UAE-German Forum at IFZA Business Park on Monday, giving a talk on Women Founders in the UAE. Patricia provided an overview of to the startup ecosystem across the UAE.
She shared insights into challenges faced by women entrepreneurs focusing on actions and activities women and enable to overcome hurdles facing them in investment, procurement and growth.
It was followed by talks from Cooling and Heating Technologies Leonnie Banzer on their climate tech energy business as well as startup pitches from Climate techs The Waste Lab, Biyiy Electric Bikes, Fintech Sav Money and P2P data platform and neuroscience tech Zarela
TiE Global Women Entrepreneurs
Women from the PwC marketing teams and emerging tech teams delivered masterclasses to TiE Women global competition global virtual accelerator programme for the winners and runners up of the regional and national competitions in the lead up to the finals in Hyderabad, India in December.
The PwC Marketing team provided three lightning sessions on marketing 101, personal branding & social media. Digital services demonstrated allyship with their digital manager Saif delivering a session on paid marketing.
The all women emerging tech team shared insights on Web3, building rapid prototypes of emerging and current technologies with relevant business needs. The all women tech team gave insights into the ‘essential 8’ and deep dived into XR, Artificial intelligence, robotics, 3D printing and web AR experiences.
